Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Gear Up For One Last Ride In ‘Bad Boys For Life’

Never let it be said that Will Smith isn’t a hard worker.

Not content with reimagining the Genie in Aladdin, fighting a younger version of himself in Gemini Man and finding time to start a burgeoning Youtube following, he also finds himself reunited with a ready-for-retirement Martin Lawrence in the third (and seemingly final) movie in the Bad Boys franchise.

Directed by Belgian duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (check out the neon-soaked trailer for 2018 movie Patser if you doubt their credentials), Bad Boys For Life brings the guns, cars, quips and carnage we’ve come to expect, albeit a whopping sixteen years after the Michael Bay-helmed Bad Boys II.

This time Smith’s Mike Lowrey is paired with a group of younger, Disney Channel-looking members of the police force (casting High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens is a little on the nose) as they try to take down an Albanian mob boss tearing up the streets of Miami.

Bad Boys for Life is set to hit cinema screens in January 2020.
