Hamilton’s Death Stranding 2 Watch Is a Masterstroke of Design and Storytelling

In a world where the lines between digital and physical blur, Hamilton’s latest creation – the American Classic Boulton Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition – is more than just a watch. It’s a wearable piece of storytelling, born from the minds of a Swiss watchmaker and video-game auteur Hideo Kojima.

A staple since the 1940s, the Boulton gets a moody, futuristic overhaul. The case, now in black PVD-coated titanium, measures 48mm by 36mm and features seven sapphire windows cut into the sides.

These aren’t just for show: they’re a reference to the fractured, multi-layered world of Death Stranding 2.

The matte black dial is minimal yet quietly dramatic, featuring grey markers and a splash of orange from the seconds hand—a subtle nod to Sam Porter Bridges’ gear.

The looped hour and minute hands are an odd but satisfying detail, echoing the curves of the crystal cutouts.

Flip it over and you’ll spot the H-10 automatic movement through the sapphire back.

It’s a workhorse with an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring to help it withstand the knocks, pulls and EMF you’d face hauling cargo across a collapsed America – or just commuting on the Metropolitan line.

Only 2,000 of these are being made, each one individually numbered and boxed with bespoke packaging and a custom cloth.

At £1,380, it drops the same day as the game: June 26, 2025.

The Hamilton x Death Stranding 2 watch isn’t just a collab – it’s a crossover event. A sleek reminder that time isn’t just something we measure…it’s something we feel.
